Ifield Therapy
Creating a calm, welcoming space where people can focus on their mental wellbeing
For many people, taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting.
That’s why the environment matters just as much as the conversation.
At Ifield Therapy, psychotherapist Jolanta Culpan has created a warm, private and welcoming space where people can take time to explore life’s challenges in confidence.
Based at The Nucleus, Ifield Therapy provides professional psychotherapy services for adults, helping them navigate issues such as addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss, neurodiversity and other specific challenges.
A career built on understanding people
Jolanta established Ifield Therapy in 2016 after qualifying as a psychotherapist, leaving behind her career in property and business administration.
While studying alongside full-time work, she wasn’t certain that psychotherapy would become her profession. She simply knew she wanted to challenge herself and better understand people.
That decision proved to be the start of a new path where work and personal growth are intrinsic.
Looking back, the move made perfect sense.
“My colleagues said it fitted me perfectly,”
she explains.
“People had always come to talk to me. I realised I’d always been curious about why people think, behave and feel the way they do.”
Today, that curiosity, empathy and professionalism underpin every client relationship.
Therapy that’s centred on the individual
As an independent psychotherapist, Jolanta works one-to-one with each client, tailoring sessions to their individual needs.
Unlike many businesses, growth isn’t measured by opening more locations or building a larger team.
Instead, success comes from maintaining a high-quality therapeutic service where every client receives the time, attention and confidentiality they need.
Clients typically find Ifield Therapy through professional directories, Google searches and personal recommendations, seeking support when they feel ready to begin therapy.
“I don’t hard sell what I do,”
says Jolanta.
“When, how and why people choose therapy is up to them.”
Finding the right home at The Nucleus
After spending eight years at another local business centre, Jolanta was ready for a change.
Location remained important, allowing existing clients to continue visiting easily, but she was also looking for a workspace that better reflected the experience she wanted to create.
“The atmosphere was one of the first things I noticed,” she says. “It’s clean, welcoming and well maintained. It feels professional but also cosy, which is important for the kind of work I do.”
She also values the flexibility to personalise her therapy room, helping create an environment where people feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
Free parking, excellent accessibility and competitive pricing all contributed to the decision to move.
“It felt like better value for money. Once I’d looked around, it became obvious that moving here was the right decision.”
A community that understands professional businesses
While the confidential nature of psychotherapy means Jolanta doesn’t take part in traditional business networking, she values the friendly atmosphere that The Nucleus provides.
Conversations over coffee, a warm welcome from the reception team and the sense of being part of a professional community all contribute to her experience.
“It’s the warmth of the centre management, reception team and people from other businesses that stands out.”
Looking ahead, she’d love to see more complementary wellbeing businesses join The Nucleus, creating opportunities to support clients through a broader range of services.
“I’d love to see more businesses like yoga, body movement, arts, physiotherapy and women’s health. I often find that talking alone isn’t enough. Mind and body must work together.”
Looking ahead
Jolanta’s focus remains on continuing to provide thoughtful, professional psychotherapy in a setting where clients feel safe, respected and supported.
For Ifield Therapy, The Nucleus offers more than simply office space.
It provides a calm, professional environment that reflects the quality of care clients receive and supports a business built on trust, compassion and meaningful human connection.
