A fond farewell to Kim after eight years at The Nucleus

August 17th 2026

After eight years at The Nucleus, Centre Manager Kim is heading into a very well-earned retirement.

During her time at The Nucleus, Kim has supported more than 120 businesses, with 25 growing and graduating into their own premises. She has championed local businesses through showcases, fairs and the Dartford Business Awards, but the achievement she is proudest of is the thriving business community that has developed here.

“Sometimes the right business community can make all the difference,”

says Kim.

“I’m proud of the businesses I have supported over the years and have seen that, no matter the size of your business, the right support can help you succeed and grow.”

That sense of community was perhaps best demonstrated during one of Kim’s most memorable days at The Nucleus: our recent marathon challenge. The whole centre came together to raise nearly £3,000, including 26 customers who braved the rain to walk a mile together.

As Kim begins her retirement, we’d like to thank her for everything she has done for The Nucleus and the many businesses that have called it home over the past eight years.

We’re also delighted to welcome AJ as our new Centre Manager, who will be taking the community forward into its next chapter. Look out for more details soon!

Thank you, Kim, and enjoy your retirement. You’ll be very much missed.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and enthusiasm of the Nucleus community, the challenge has raised an amazing £2,685 to […]

Time to try networking that doesn’t feel like networking?

At The Nucleus, community isn’t built through forced introductions or awkward 60-second pitches. More often, it starts with something much simpler: a slice of pizza, a drink, and a conversation that happens naturally. That’s exactly what our regular beer and pizza event are all about. They are deliberately informal. There’s no […]

When the working day ends, The Nucleus doesn’t

There’s a moment, usually just after the laptops close and the emails stop, when a workspace either empties… or evolves. At The Nucleus, it’s the latter. Recently, one of our customers, Jas from Massage Holistic Therapy, transformed one of our meeting rooms into something entirely different: a calm, immersive space […]
